Brecon Beacons – 23rd February 2020

Starting at the car park at Blaen Y Glyn, near Talybont Reservoir, the walk followed the ridge at a fairly high level as far as Cribyn and took in some varied scenery including waterfalls and the remains of a crashed WW2 bomber and it’s memorial to the young crew who were all sadly killed.

After a damp and windy start, it came out fine later which gave good views later on of the surrounding area – although still a bit windy to the extent that the waterfalls were actually blowing up hill on the top and soaking everyone as they went by.

A very quiet day up there, not many other fool hardy punters, but an enjoyable 12 mile loop
